GBS was retained by Hilti Tools as the construction manager for pre-construction, coordinating A,M,E consultants and moving forward with general contracting services for Hilti TSC (Tool Service Center). This 12,000 sq. ft. plus facility, the first in Western Canada, provides state of the art life cycle tool repair service for Hilti customers. Working with the Hilti facilities team, GBS learned about Hilti’s unique tool repair process, with custom designed repair stations, equipment and proprietary dust/fume extraction system. Challenges of understanding and installation of the Client’s provided off-shore equipment, GBS was able to instigate and coordinate local civic approvals and deliver the project on time and on budget.
